Wandelgids met een wandelkaartenset van deze uitdagende route van het noordelijk deel van de GR92 in Catalonie. De rute begint in Portbou (grens met Frankrijk aan de oostkust) en eindigt in Vallvidrera, vlakbij Barcelona. 

De route is uitstekend beschreven in een handige, beetje zware gids in ringband. Wel in het Catalaans! Op de kaarten met schaal 1:50.000 is de route duidelijk ingetekend; je zou wellicht het boek thuis kunnen laten.

Van de uitgever: De GR 92 Nord is een traject dat zich uitstrekt van Portbou tot Vallvidrera, langs een route van 326 kilometer. Het boek bevat de 18 eigen etappes van de GR, plus vier andere die in totaal nog eens 76 kilometer aan het parcours toevoegen. Onder de etappes die daar te vinden zijn, is er die van Begur naar Palamós, die van Tordera naar Hortsavinyá, die van Montcada en Reixac naar Vallvidrera of die van Lloret de Mar naar het Gelpí-plan. Elk van de routes wordt in detail uitgelegd en er worden foto's, kaarten en andere interessante bezienswaardigheden over het specifieke gebied toegevoegd. Het belangrijkste kenmerk van dit pad is dat het altijd langs de kust loopt en de attracties van de route volgt: de wereld van de visserij, de droge stenen architectuur bij Cap de Creus, de wetlands van Empordá, kurkwinning en bosbouw of de wereld van wijnstokken en wijnbouw.
