This is a significant re-working of our Cairo map, showing a lot of infrastructure improvements and adding rapid transit lines. The real change, however, is the inclusion on the second side of a fully-detailed map of the Nile River from its wide delta to Cairo, where it narrows into the historic narrow band of green southward as far as Luxor. All known historic sites of ancient Egypt are included. The map area also includes the Suez Canal, the Gulf of Suez, and the western part of the Sinai.

Flexi Map Shanghai is laminated, tear-resistant comprising 2 separate maps featuring the city and its surroundings; each map has its own index which has been categorised for ease of use. 

It includes a list - with descriptions and some photographs - of 37 recommended sights, divided by theme and linked to the mapping by numbered markers. There is also a handy information section with concise details on getting around, tourist offices, money, tipping, opening times, public holidays, telecommunications, emergency tel...ephone numbers and climate.

On one side is a street plan of the city's central districts at a scale of 1:18 500 (1cm = 0.18km). One way streets, car parks, train and metro routes are clearly shown, in addition a Metro map is located on the back cover for easy reference. Many prominent public buildings, hotels and other places of interest are highlighted and listed in the extensive index. Ferry routes across the Huangpu River are also marked. Place names are shown on this street plan in English and Chinese characters. 

The reverse side includes a map of the Shanghai Environs at a scale of 1:2.600.000 (1cm = 26km). Places of interest including UNESCO World Heritage Sites are clearly marked.

Easter Island is so isolated that it is not certain whether it is part of Polynesia or an off-shoot of South America. Geologically, it is neither; just a volcanic lump in the vast expanse of the Pacific Ocean. Its original inhabitants probably came from Polynesia; since supplanted by migrants from Chile, which is the political authority governing the island. Regardless, it is an intriguing place, famous for the Maoi - giant heads originally raised to protect family holdings. These huge, mysterious heads rest in various locations on the island and are one of the wonders of the world. This map also includes a detailed map of Santiago de Chile, the capital of Chile, for the simple reason that all flights to Easter Island originate in that city, so everyone going to Easter Island needs a map of Santiago as well. This usage is merely for the convenience of visitors going to Easter Island. ITMB publishes a separate map of Santiago and Central Chile and we intend to continue to do so.

Terrain variations are marked by colours, e.g. forests, heaths, tidal flats and sand. Administrative boundaries, prohibited areas and national parks are indicated. The maps have no geographical coordinates.
