In the Congo basin many of the tributaries are named. 

Country boundaries are shown in contrasting colours. All place names are in English, except for selected cities such as Cairo, Tripoli or Algiers where the original names are shown first (El Quahira, etc) with the English equivalents in brackets. Where appropriate, administrative, legislative and judicial capital cities are indicated (e.g. Dar Es Salam/Dodoma, Johannesburg/Cape Town/Bloemfontein, etc).

Prachtige geplastificeerde wereldkaart. Door het heldere en vrij felle kleurgebruik is deze kaart uitermate geschikt voor scholen, kantoren of gewoon als politieke wereldkaart thuis. De kleurstellig is zodanig dat elk land zich zeer goed onderscheidt van haar buren. De natuurkundige aspecten zijn minder goed te zien, al worden de gebergten door schaduwwerking goed uitgelicht. De nadruk ligt echter duidelijk op een ‘gewone’ wereldkaart. De belettering is uitstekend leesbaar door vetgedrukte naamgeving.

Sydney is probably the best-known city in Australia and this map benefits from trips we have taken to ground-truth the information. It is attractive, pertinent, and easy to use as a map. As with many of our international city maps, we have re-worked this title into a double-sided map with the souteastern half of Australia on the reverse side. As with many of ITMB's map this edition is freshly printed on waterproof paper, more for its durability in the case of Australia than humidity.

Het traject van Nieuweschans naar Groningen is gebaseerd op de reis die ca 1650 gemaakt werd. Veel trekarbeiders namen toen de trekschuit of snik. Het Winschoterdiep was toen net aangelegd. De trekschuit vormde een soort OV met dienstregeling en haltes. De verbinding tussen Groningen en Winschoten kwam al snel op gang. Later werd Nieuweschans de halte bij de grens. Het eerste stuk van dit traject is gebaseerd op de verbinding over de weg langs een aantal schansen. Het enige stukje originele route is de Oudeweg bij Oudeschans. Deze paar honderd meter pad beschouwt Stichting Hannekemaaierspad als cultureel erfgoed.

Relief is portrayed by hill-shading without distracting from other detail. Road network shows minor roads and selected cart tracks, and includes information indispensable for happy holiday driving: motorway service stations and motels, gradients on steep roads, restricted entry for cars or caravans and seasonal closures, routes not recommended for caravans, scenic roads and special tourist routes, etc. Railways, cable cars, and ferry connections also shown, as well as selected long--distance hiking trails.
